When photographer Michael Lavin wanted to propose to his girlfriend Jamie, he was not sure about how she would react. They had been dating for five years and he knew that the ring would certainly make her happy, but it wasn't as easy as it seemed. He ended up planning a surprise engagement party- complete with six dozen roses arranged in the shape of a heart, 3D printed invitations for all their guests, and a man playing violin at his home in Staffordshire. But, a major part of this event was reserved for another day.

The day finally came when Michael brought Jamie to one of his favorite places- the London park. As they strolled through the park, Michael brought his girlfriend close to him by holding her hand and then dropped to one knee with an engagement ring he had planned for months!

"I was totally surprised!" said Jamie later. "Michael told me that we were meeting some friends at the park but I didn't know that there would be hundreds of people there or that he would propose in front of everyone. It was a very emotional moment."

When asked about what inspired him to use a big teddy bear, Michael said: "I have been a photographer for two years now and have shot many different kinds of stuff including weddings and engagements, etc."
